the total stay was fabulous in a quiet town. really enjoyed our rooms with a bath. could use their ample parking. location: the hotel was really close to the bus stop, the restaurant in the evening and the pub. also, a chard museum was 2 km away.
Nothing not too like!

Good service was provided. We had an electric kettle, central heating and a TV set in the suite. The location was marvellous on the side of a hill and the staff here was pleasant and efficient.

ample car parking, cozy bar area, enjoyable entertainment options
A bit more attention to shower pressure would improve the experience!!! Consideration for more accessible stair options could greatly enhance convenience, especially for those with mobility challenges!!!

Friendly atmosphere, large clean room, good sized and well equipped en-suite bathroom. Good breakfast menu. We have stayed here before.
The evening menu is somewhat limited, if like us, you do not eat meat, and there is a limited choice of vegetables, but this is an inn, not a 5 star hotel.

Evening Meal was fine although a bit more expensive than others in the area.
Not really in the standard of a country inn, more like a B&B in a pub.
